Newbury Girls FC had the difficult task of entering a new league, with new opposition and at the larger 11 a side status and all that entails, and to their credit they emerged triumphant securing the Runners Up spot in the Surrey County Womens & Girls League - U15's Premier Division 2007/8. Although the season was not without it's dramas, the girls fought on and took every chance to achieve the end result. The Squad has also grown in the usual way with some new players replacing those who have left for other challenges, ultimately the girls now have their sights set on top spot in the league, and perhaps a better run in the Cup Championships opens another opportunity for silverware. Well done Girls!
